My name is Hazel, and I am the person behind She Recommends.

I chose the name "She Recommends" for the purpose of sharing or recommending my real-life experiences, activities, and purchases, just to name a few, in order to help, assist, or guide others.

I am a Mama.

I am a naturally curious person and an advocate (INFJ) to the core. It is my joy to share my life's discoveries.

Nowadays, despite our easy access to information (thanks, Internet!), it is still difficult to find authentic and reliable sources. Forgive me when I say that we have become a "likes and shares" society. We post online just for the sake of gaining followers.

I understand the need to earn money. In fact, I will not deny that I hoped to earn money from blogging. But the main reason I'm starting a blog is to HELP/ASSIST/GUIDE people.

It is not my desire to die without imparting what I learned in life.
